Carolyn Hurwitz
Director
Joel Hurwitz & Ass
Carolyn is the director and owner of Joel Hurwitz & Associates CC. She is also a partner in JHA Risk Services She has been in the industry since 1992 and has amassed a wealth of experience in various areas of financial planning. She worked with her father Joel Hurwtiz for 30 years before taking the reigns in 2022.
Elysia Mills

JHA Risk Services
Elysia manages our short-term practice both as a Director and Key Individual. She started in the insurance industry in 2004 and has since worked with complex products and both insurers and brokers. This gives her insight to understand how insurers work and negotiate the best deal for you.
Natasha Joseph
Office Manager
Joel Hurwitz & Ass
Natasha is our office manager and an integral part of the team. She started at Joel Hurwitz & Associates in 2015. Natasha has however been in the industry for over 30 years. She has worked at various life insurers as well as brokers. She keeps everything running efficiently.
Martinique Kaye
Office Administrator
Joel Hurwitz & Ass
Martinique began her career in the medical aid industry in 2012 working as a broker assistant. She joined Joel Hurwitz & Associates CC in 2019 as an office administrator and has expanded her knowledge to include the various aspects of the business. She is also our resident IT specialist.
Tish Johanson
Office Administrator
JHA Risk Services
Tish is our newest addition to the team and we are so lucky to have her with her wealth of experience. She started her insurance journey in 1988 and has worked at insurers and brokers so she understands all aspects of insurance. She is office bound and always available for your call.
